WHAT IS THE TIME IN GRAND CAYMAN?
The Cayman Islands are on Eastern Standard Time (EST) but we DO NOT practice daylight saving.

THERE ARE NO TOUR TIMES ON YOUR WEBSITE - WHAT'S UP?
Differing time zones can make it very confusing for guests. Simply submit your reservation saying whether you prefer a morning or afternoon tour and we shall come back to you with information.

IS STINGRAY CITY DANGEROUS?
Just listen to the crew who will guide you. The Cayman stingrays have had over 35 years of contact with humans, and seem to enjoy being held and hand-fed. Stingrays in other parts of the world react defensively in the presence of humans. Treat our stingrays with the respect they deserve and they will do the same to you.

WILL CHILDREN BE SAFE AT STINGRAY CITY?
As per the above. We do emphasise that children remain the responsibility of the adults who bring them. However, we do everything we can to help you with the little ones and do have swimming aids for all ages and sizes.

WILL THE BOAT BE CROWDED?
No. Definitely not. We are licensed to carry 40 passengers, but in the interest of guest comfort, we self-limit ourselves to approximately 26 passengers (unless otherwise requested e.g. a private tour). We do not believe in in quantity over quality - a tough promise to keep in these economic times, but it's a promise we keep.

DO YOU PROVIDE TRANSPORT?
Yes - to certain locations. Complimentary round trip transport from the Cruise Terminal and Condos/Hotels along the Seven Mile Beach. If you prefer to make your own way to the boat, we will be there to welcome you. Check here for directions.

Yes. Complimentary iced water and a delicious tropical fruit punch are on-board. Bring along other snacks and refreshments if you like!

WHAT ABOUT BAD WEATHER?
No problem! Trips are only cancelled when we deem conditions too unsafe for our guests. Other than that, our boat provides protection againsty any elements be it rain, wind or sun.

AM I SAFE DOING THE TOUR WITH YOU?
Yes. Fun is important but safety is our first priority. Our emphasis on safety is all encompassing, from highly experienced crew also trained in first aid, to thorough boat maintenance and everything in between. We have been licensed by the Cayman Islands Port Authority and are insurance company approved.

I AM PREGNANT - IS IT SAFE TO SWIM WITH THE STINGRAYS?

WHAT DO I BRING WITH?
A sense of adventure and fun! Prepare as if for a day on the beach and bring along your waterproof camera, sun block (non-aeresol), sun glasses, towel, reservation information and payment and any snacks/refreshments that you might want.
